Fountain Refurbishment
The centre piece fountain of the Brighton Marina retail development required a new long term decorative waterproofing solution. For the Fountain Refurbishment LAM installed a robust GRP (fibreglass) lining to the base and surrounding up-stands to provide a seamless tanking membrane to all internal surfaces. The fountain basin has been painted previously with various types of waterproof paints and resins, however none of them were able to offer more than a few years protection. The new GRP (fibreglass) liner has completely enhanced the appearance of the fountain pleasing both local residents and shopkeepers. The liner is set to remain intact and provide waterproofing for a guaranteed 25 yrs.
