Problem

The main contractor that were awarded the refurbishment project for the reptile house at London Zoo contacted us for the GRP lining to various different areas.

Solution

Reptile enclosures require specialised environmental considerations to ensure the health and longevity of the animals. Factors such as humidity control, durability, hygiene, and resistance to wear are crucial. Given these requirements, GRP lining presented itself as the most suitable solution for maintaining an optimal reptile habitat

Installation

After design was finalised, our team got to work. The application was carried out over a 5-week installation programme. Our GRP lining application was used to waterproof the new enclosures constructed of reinforced concrete and blockwork.

Completion

The GRP lining was completed and ready for the decorative reptile accent rocks to create the perfect habitat for the animals.
