LAM was contacted by Lee Abbey in Devon last year to provide an initial budget quotation for refurbishment of their water storage tanks. After reviewing our proposals, the client requested a site visit to ensure we fully understood the scope, access constraints, and mobilisation requirements.

Our team attended site and carried out a detailed assessment, confirming the most efficient approach for preparation and lining works. Following this, we received the official order and immediately scheduled our specialist grit-blasting team to begin surface preparation.

Once the tanks were fully prepared, our operatives identified and completed several minor concrete repairs to ensure the substrate was structurally sound. With the surfaces restored, we proceeded to install our high-performance GRP lining system.

The works were carried out efficiently and in line with the agreed programme. Throughout the project, we maintained clear communication with the client and ensured minimal disruption to their operations.
