Problem

During our Teepol tank lining project at a British Gypsum site in Kirkby Thore our client needed a solution for their rusted Teepol chemical bund area. They needed a durable, chemical resistant & safe system suitable for engineers’ foot traffic.

Solution

We suggested a seamless, chemical resistant GRP lining system. Perfect for the harsh chemicals and corrosion prevention.

Instalation

To prepare the corroded surface our team used Citra Clean Concentrate a Multipurpose hard surface cleaner/degreaser designed to remove heavy grease and carbon. We then mechanically abraded the surfaces to remove any remaining rust and loose flakey material providing a suitable key for the GRP lining adhesion.

Completion

Our team installed a seamless GRP lining, giving the factory a clean and tidy look while creating a tough, safe bund area. It’s built to withstand everything—factory conditions, rust, chemicals, and heavy foot traffic— keeping the space protected and durable.
