Problem

A manufacturer of leading brand pickles and sauces in the UK, contacted Liquid Applied Membranes as a matter of urgency due to the failure of one of the effluent tanks. Liquid Applied Membranes attended site to undertake the initial survey to enable us to put together detailed recommendations and proposals.

Solution

On further inspection, it was noted that the containment bunds were not compliant to HSE regulations and would also require refurbishment to comply with the environment agency standard requirements.

Installation

Recognising the critical importance of Primary and Secondary Containment in their operations, our proposal included a GRP fibreglass lining refurbishment of the leaking effluent tank and bund area—delivering a factory upgrade specifically tailored to meet the demands of industrial and plant environments. Prior to our applications our team carried out meticulous surface preparation and priming works to ensure optimal adhesion and long-term performance.
